🌲It's world environment day!🌲 As the first carbon neutral caterer in the UK, our work in offsetting our carbon impact has supported a few amazing causes we wanted to share, particularly around deforestation. The first is the Marston Vale Forest Creation Project. This charity has planted over 2 million trees to transform the landscape and improve the prospects of the Marston Vale. The second is the Improved Biodiversity & Mixed Reforestation Project in Costa Rica. This project combines the premium quality standards of a recognised forest carbon offset project with multiple ecological and socio-economic benefits for local communities and the environment. Whilst we continue to reduce our impact through innovation, it is vitally important to offset our impact through these amazing, community positive causes. We are an inquisitive bunch - we so love going behind the scenes and working in special places that not everyone gets to see. Bedford Square in Bloomsbury is exactly the kind of hidden gem where we love to work. Surrounded by Georgian buildings, it is a beautiful garden in which we love to create amazing outdoor events.
