Say hello to our Lead Operator in Body Structure, Paulina Krukurka! Having started her story with LEVC in 2018 as a Product Operator, Paulina has developed a huge amount of expertise and now plays a key role in helping to oversee the creation of TX’s incredibly high-tech anodised aluminium monocoque structures. Always up for a challenge and embracing the complexities of her day-to-day, Paulina is a pleasure to have as part of the LEVC team, in an environment she describes as “supportive”. Last week, LEVC had the pleasure of hosting the Mayor of the West Midlands, Richard Parker, at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Ansty, Coventry. The Mayor was given a guided tour and met with LEVC Managing Director, Chris Allen, to discuss our exciting plans for the future and how we can further support the region as a leading centre of innovation in green technology. Since the start of production in 2018, LEVC’s TX zero-emission capable taxi has prevented more than 200,000 tonnes of CO2 from entering the atmosphere and continues to provide safe, sustainable and reliable transportation for people in cities around the world. Commenting on his visit, Richard Parker said: “Touring the TX black cab production line was fantastic. These pioneering electric taxis, made right here in our region, will be shipped worldwide. LEVC is delighted to see Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council take further steps towards helping the taxi industry and the wider community go green with the introduction of a new £5,000 grant for electrically powered taxis. Since its introduction in 2018, more than 10,000 TX models have been sold globally, a majority of which are in the UK. Collectively, TX has prevented more than 240,000 tons of CO2 emissions from entering the atmosphere and continues to provide safe, sustainable and accessible transportation for people in cities around the world. Following on from the Olympic fun, we hosted a Festival of Sport at our HQ in Coventry that combined a range of fun activities to help raise money for The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association and Suicide Prevention UK. Thanks to the team's efforts, we raised £163! Thank you to everyone who got involved 🙌

Spotted 🔍 We stopped off in the beautiful city of Bath as part of the TX Tour. From the old horse and carts back in the day of Jane Austen to a modern-day electrified taxi ride, this is the place where old meets new. Here’s the mighty TX looking splendid outside the iconic Royal Crescent, one of the best-preserved pieces of Georgian architecture in the UK. Have you paid a visit there?
