October marks UK Black History Month! This year's theme, 'Reclaiming Narratives', reminds us of the importance of elevating Black voices and stories that have often been overlooked or misrepresented. At LHi, we're committed to recognising and celebrating the contributions of the Black community, not just this month but year-round. Throughout October, we'll be internally highlighting Black-owned businesses local to our UK offices for our LHi'ers to explore and support. We'll also be sharing stories within LHi to educate and spread awareness of the ongoing struggles and triumphs that the Black community has experienced. Congratulations to our Senior Marketing Executive, Jordan Sekhri, on SIX years at LHi! 🎊 We caught up with our Head of Marketing and Director at LHi, Kim Pasteau who said "Happy 6-year anniversary to everyone’s favourite northerner, Jordan Sekhri! I can’t quite believe Jordan has been at LHi Group for this long, especially as every day he turns up with the same enthusiasm and energy as he did on his first day. Jordan is one of those rare breeds of humans that, when you meet him, you instantly like him. You have to; he doesn’t give you a choice. He can charm anyone, and he always delivers on what he sets out to do, which has made him a top-notch marketer and an absolute superstar to work with. Over six years (four within the marketing team), Jordan has been instrumental in so many big projects that one post will never be enough to demonstrate his impact on LHi Group. He is normally behind any big improvement or implementation and is currently working on a plethora of marketing projects that will make a big difference to our success. Not only does Jordan manage big-ticket projects, but he also delivers on the small stuff. He’s always there to help anyone in the business, and it is very rare that you will hear the word 'no.' I get so much great feedback on Jordan, I’m almost bored of it! (Just kidding!) This year, he made the move back to his beloved Leeds, but being 100% remote hasn’t changed the way Jordan operates. We had an amazing time at our "Younger You LHi Kids Day" in our London office last Friday! Hosted by Myles Jackson and Kim Pasteau from our PACE (Parent & Carer Employees) community! The event was a beautiful opportunity for some of our LHi parents and their children to create unforgettable memories.
