It’s our Lia's Wings anniversary! Seven years to the day that the charity brought Leo and I home from London to Dundee. Leo was three weeks old, weighed less than 3lbs and needed oxygen, tube feeds and various IV’s running. He lived in an incubator and had never left the NICU. But they put him in a travel incubator, provided a consultant, nurse, paramedics, a plane and a pilot… and flew him to Dundee. That was when I truly understood what a challenging day at work was! Some photos of the team loading and unloading Leo onto the aircraft. We now have a lift that does this. It’s an incredibly niche, small and medical children’s charity but there is no doubt that is life-changing for the families it helps. I adore being a part of it. Charlotte Young Lee Collier
