Yesterday, young people at Life Brooks and Hainault Youth Centre of the London Borough of Redbridge explored their creativity at a hands-on Pottery & Sculpture Workshop led by the talented Architect Sabitha Sutrave. The results were outstanding—beautifully crafted flowers, bowls, and unique sculptures that reflect their creativity and focus. Workshops like this offer young people the opportunity to build new skills, express themselves artistically, and connect with their community in a supportive environment. 🌟Building Connections and Creativity with Life Brooks🌟 We recently held a fantastic Papier Mâché Session at Life Brooks, in partnership with Ab Phab Youth Club where young people, including those with special needs, enjoyed hands-on creativity. This session was made even more impactful by the presence of the British Transport Police as part of their befriending service. Their visit provided a unique opportunity for children and young people to get to know the officers, familiarise themselves with the force, and feel more comfortable around those who work to keep our communities safe. Refreshments were served to keep everyone energised throughout the day! 🍎🥤 A special thank you to our talented artist, Neha introduced by Namita Jain for leading the creative session with such skill and warmth. Her engaging talk not only highlighted the diverse opportunities within the Planning profession but also provided practical advice on how to embark on a successful career in town planning. The discussion emphasised the importance of community engagement, development management and the impact these future leaders can have in shaping our town and cities. Dare to Achieve tackles challenges affecting educational attainment and educational outcomes of children and young people. We provide out of school educational programme combined with recreational activities for children living in care to provide additional support and help them towards achieving higher levels of academic attainment. We provide educational/employment support programme combined with financial literacy activities that will specifically target young people who are not in education, employment or training who are underachieving due to heavy financial/debt burden, lack of skills and lack of information and advice on available opportunities. #lifebrooksinternationaluk #DareToAchieve

Resilient living through sculpting This session provided a safe space for young people to express their creativity through sculpting. We created a unique opportunity to teach a range of tools and techniques that aim to build resilience and confidence. Learning sculpting provided a unique avenue to foster resilience in young minds. At the end of the session, all agreed that clay is a beautiful but challenging medium to work with and requires planning, creativity, patience and persistence. #throwback #ResilientCommunities #lifebrooksinternational #youngpeople
