Oliver Hunt reminds us that using LLMs and #RAG is just one part of #ResearchDiscovery, market participants receive the vast majority of their research passively and that is an area which can easily be improved. Making any 'Push' notification more 'tailor made' to the client's granular interests and needs is still a key objective for all publishers.

I recently wrote an article about how the Limeglass Ltd #KnowledgeGraph provides a massive enhancement to #RAG systems for #InvestmentResearch. But it is important not to let our focus get too narrow as we pursue the important, broad objective to make research more discoverable for #investors. 🔍 ❗ RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) is just one opportunity. 💡 Smart Searching research documents is a much bigger use case. RAG is effectively an add-on to search, but just because you CAN generate an automated summary of your search results, does not mean you always SHOULD. Most of the time, #salespeople and investors need to be able to find and consume the original content written by the expert #researchanalysts themselves. ❗ And, while we are talking about keeping the focus broad, even search is only one tiny part of ACTIVE research discovery. 💡 PASSIVE discovery is equally important. Investors consume a significant proportion of research passively, eg. over email alerts.
