Huge progress in Burundi! At Lincoln & York, we’re proud to be working with Omwani Coffee and Migoti Coffee to bring clean water to the coffee farming community of Kinama. Over the past year, we’ve funded the first phase of this vital project, supporting the construction of a new water reservoir, which was successfully completed in September, along with essential piping, fittings and valves. We’re now excited to be moving into phase two of the project, which will extend the impact even further. The next stage will introduce a piping network and ten community water points to make clean, drinkable water more accessible and reduce the long distances residents currently walk to access it.
