"For us, what matters is what is the customer looking for, as part of their energy transition… There is no silver bullet – there isn’t a single technology available in the world that’s going to solve our problems," said Lamba. "Linde’s unique capability is to be able to bring technology packages together that serve every need that the customer might have,” whether driven by efficiency or an ambition to reduce emissions. He emphasized Linde’s technology-agnostic approach and ability to deliver “unique solutions for differing needs." When asked for his best advice for navigating the inherent complexity, Lamba concluded, “the most effective way of getting a good outcome is to co-develop with good partners. Linde’s $2 billion investment in a world-scale integrated low carbon hydrogen and atmospheric gases facility in Alberta is raising the bar in sustainable innovation and establishes Alberta as a global hub for low carbon solutions.
