Can a small donation per month support families who have children with additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions? The answer is YES! you can give as little as £3 per month via our Text to Donate number. £3 per month may not seem much, but it could go towards an arts and crafts session for children who have been excluded from education. Why not encourage a whole team sign up? 10 colleagues donating £3 a month could pay for a counselling session per month for a bereaved parent. We are almost entirely voluntary donation based. All donations matter and keep our services running. Big thanks to those who have supported us this week: Gregal SCOOP for donating 100 pumpkins for the children to carve in time for Halloween. Thank you to Fountain Fresh Imports Ltd for getting them safely to the centre so that everybody can enjoy them. The Silver Spoon Company for donating 50 cupcake kits for the children to bake and decorate with their spooky cake decorations. Baking can not only be fun for the children who visit us, but it can also be therapeutic whilst using motor skills. Ruth Barker-Lynsey of LC Computers Ltd for donating 2 brand new laptops for our staff. Without these, we wouldn't be able to work properly. The show will go on! Milestone Infrastructure for tarmacing additional car parking spaces outside the front of our building. More families with mobility aids will now be able to park in front of the centre at busier times, making it safer and easier for everyone. Kevin Corney of Illumino Ignis Ltd for dropping off boxes of Halloween Haribo for children to enjoy over the half term activities. Printmarshall Creative for creating and donating business cards for one of our Fundraisers. AB Mauri, a global business of Associated British Foods plc for volunteering in our garden area planting spring time bulbs for our families to enjoy in the sensory garden. Greencore who did a Skydive for our South Holland branch and raised an impressive £3,380! Donations like these allow us to reach more families and provide the support needed most. Thank you. We couldn't support as many families who have children with additional needs, disabilities or life-limiting conditions without your help. Who are we and what do we do? Having a child with additional needs, disability or life-limiting condition can feel isolating and scary when there is nowhere to turn for support. We believe all children need a safe space to play, laugh and create friendships. At Little Miracles we provide this environment for children whilst families can access the advice, support and care everyone deserves through a number of services such as respite care, counselling and advocacy. Disability can affect anybody no matter what their circumstances are. We are here for those families who need support - nobody gets left behind. To learn more about why we exist or you know someone who could benefit from our services, please visit https://lnkd.in/eDZtZjk4 To speak to someone, please contact Georgia H. or Louise Evans.

Do you enjoy being outside? The children who visit our centre love playing in our garden area, and we understand why! Children who are not in an education setting or receive Respite care need a place to let off steam (as well as the hundreds that visit us during the holidays) - and we have the perfect place for them, rain or shine. Not only is it HUGE, it's also in a safe and secure protected woodland with lots of things to do on top of whizzing around! We have accessible play equipment (including a wheelchair accessible treehouse), lots of bikes and scooters, a sports area and a sensory garden where children can spend a moment to take in all of the protected species whilst getting their hands dirty in our accessible gardening trough! Our Youth Club also build impressive camp fires under supervision and toast marshmallows with their friends. This encourages team working skills, creating life-long friendships with their peers and provides a safe space for children after school to relax. We learn alongside having lots of fun! In this beautiful area, we also have our Memorial garden where we take time to remember the children who were part of the Little Miracles family and have passed away. Big thank you's to the following for their support in recent weeks! Fraser Dawbarns Solicitors LLP for holding a coffee and raffle morning for us which raised over £270! It was great to see the local community coming to support the coffee morning and donations like this could go towards our Halloween Half Term coming up to ensure lots of fun is had by the children visiting the centre. Delicious Ideas Food Group for donating delicious goody bags for our fabulous Great Eastern Run participants. They were very much appreciated by our runners after 13 miles! Delicious Foods also regularly donate to our Community Food Bank and ensure our centre has regular deliveries of treats for the children who attend. More here: https://lnkd.in/e2mDccjx Mark from MKS Electrical came down as soon as he heard our newest classroom had a power outage yesterday morning. This classroom is used as a safe-space for some of our children with higher needs and Mark's swift actions meant there was minimal disruption to the children's routines. Our much loved Sensory Room door handle broke and was in need of urgent repair so that the children could use the room to re-regulate and have some quiet time. Daniel Harker came to the rescue and not only fixed the door, but repaired our Fire Alarm box that had also been broken. Help like this ensures we can keep all of our rooms open and enjoyed by the children! Supermax Healthcare UK & Europe for holding a Coffee morning and raising over £200 for us! £200 could pay for up to 8 sessions of counselling for a child who has lost a sibling. Supermax have hosted a number of fundraising events over the last year and have helped us to support more families who need us the most. To all of our brilliant Great Eastern Runners who raised just under a WHOPPING £10,000! This is an incredible achievement and we are so grateful to be supported by such kind people. We are almost entirely voluntary donation based, so fundraising events like this are incredibly important to us. Every Christmas Little Miracles Charity aims to take around 700 people to the panto and this year this has been made possible thanks to our incredible supporters, Yours Clothing! Going to such an overwhelming activity can be really hard for some families of children with disabilities. Groups are sometimes split-up because wheelchairs cannot be accommodated, people can judge behaviour if children find it hard to regulate and the lights and sounds can be too much. We hire out the whole performance, chairs are moved to sit families together, it is a quieter performance with no strobe light and if there is a medical emergency we are able to respond quickly and calmly. Every child should have the opportunity to enjoy the pantomime with their family and we are incredibly grateful to Yours Clothing for making this happen for the second year in a row 🌈 Have a look at our website for more wonderful photos from last year's panto - https://lnkd.in/e9HeZNDw Kay Clay
