Futuremakers is a Standard Chartered programme that empowers underserved young people around the world to help shape their futures, teaching them skills to improve their chances of getting a job or starting their own business.

Earlier this week, LFC Foundation’s women’s walking football team enjoyed a day to remember at AXA Melwood to celebrate their second birthday with the LFC women’s first team. The ladies were invited for breakfast at Melwood before meeting the squad and getting autographs and photos before their headed out to train, where the team were able to watch the start of the session before heading upstairs to enjoy a birthday lunch. Liverpool FC’s former players association, Forever Reds, is pledging £150,000 to help save Zoe's Place Baby Hospice, Liverpool. The club has been exploring ways it can help since the recent news about the uncertain future of Zoe’s Place in Liverpool, which provides respite, end of life and palliative care for babies, infants and children across Merseyside and the north west. The donation will support the ongoing city-wide campaign to try to raise enough money to build a new hospice for the charity and enable it to carry on its vital work. In celebration of National Recycling Week, Liverpool Football Club is proud to announce a major milestone in its ongoing sustainability efforts. Thanks to the dedication of Reds fans, over one million plastic bottles have been recycled during matchday collections and events at Anfield during the past three seasons. The club has seen an impressive rise in the number of bottles collected, reaching a total of 1,051,400 by the 2023-24 season. These bottles are now part of a circulatory programme, managed by a third-party provider, to ensure they are repurposed instead of ending up in landfill. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/eT5UR2EE
