Presenting episode 1 in ‘The Bank on Her’ series, where we celebrate some of the women across Lloyds Banking Group who are making a massive impact at work and in their communities to help Britain prosper! To honour their contribution, we're pairing each colleague with a woman artist to capture their success. We’re kicking things off with a powerful sculpture by Marilene, celebrating the journey of Anna, our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Manager. From her roots in Northern Ireland to becoming an LGBTQ+ advocate, Anna’s story of courage and authenticity is beautifully captured in this piece. ✨ A huge thanks to Marilene for this masterpiece and to Anna for showing up so authentically! You both inspire us! 👏💖

👏A huge shout-out to our incredible colleagues Tiffany and Jordan, who are featured in this year’s INvolve - The Inclusion People Heroes Women Future Leaders Role Models List, recognising people championing women in business and driving inclusion within the workplace. ✨Having co-led efforts to promote data careers and help women build tech skills, Tiffany serves as a role model through her amazing volunteer work advocating for women to take bold career steps. ✨Jordan’s dedication to promoting diversity and inclusion in the tech industry has seen her volunteer with over 1,000 people. She was also instrumental in launching Lloyds Bank's first virtual work experience program, introducing 11-14-year-olds to data. Congratulations Tiffany & Jordan!🤍

New accessibility feature ✔️ We've recently integrated the Recite Me tool into our website, empowering users with disabilities and neurodivergent conditions to customise content through screen readers and reading aids. Check out the demo to see the features in action👇 Visual Description below: The screen displays the Lloyds banking Group website, and the cursor meets the Recite-Me enabled toolbar at the top of the page, showcasing different features designed to enhance accessibility. The colour wheel icon is selected which is the Colour Customise feature showing adjustments to the contrast, and background colours to improve readability. Next, the demo of the Screen Reader is activated where text is highlighted on the webpage and is read aloud. The video then demonstrates the use of reading aids. A ruler tool is selected from the toolbar, which guides the user through the content line by line. Finally, the Magnifier is activated where the user clicks and drags a magnifying glass to enlarge text on the screen.

🤝 Meet Mariella from Southend Barns Farm. We recently spent a day on her farm to hear all about the sustainable changes she's been making to her farming practices, and what advice she has for others. You may also see some familiar faces in Victoria, Relationship Director of Agriculture, and Soil Association Exchange Soil Association, who play a part in the story. ⚠️ Weather and flood warnings have been issued across parts of England and Wales. We know that this can be a stressful time for our customers, where the impact of extreme weather can cause damage in seconds. Our emergency response insurance teams are being deployed so we can help customers who have been impacted already to get back on their feet as soon as possible. We’re encouraging customers at risk of flooding to protect themselves in advance: 1. Know how to turn off your gas, water and electricity. 2. Get a waterproof bag and keep a kit of essential items in it. Things like some emergency money, your insurance documents and a torch. 3. Move your valuables and anything else you can up to higher levels in your home if possible. 4. If you’ve an insurance policy, put the provider’s claims line number in your mobile, so it's with you at all times. Sign up for free 24-hour flood warnings: https://lnkd.in/eETr2gm
