  • Corten is a beautiful material, but it requires careful design. From raised planter edging to architectural facades, Corten steel’s rugged elegance tells a story of time and weather. But beneath that beauty lies a challenge that must be considered before specifying this material: run-off during the weathering process. Whilst every material has its challenges - great design comes from how we address them. Explore the key approaches to consider when working with Corten: https://lnkd.in/eAnP-yFm

We love bold designs, and the Clapham Road project was bold in it’s simplicity. With a striking white aesthetic, intricate LED lighting, and a range of planter sizes to accommodate, the design required careful attention to detail. Looking at the completed space now, you get a feel for its refinement and prestige. This project features Stapel Raised Edge in an off-white powder coat, utilising the self-weighted Velox™ system—allowing for ease of installation without the need for bolts or foundations. Modal benches feature at ground level, perfectly complimenting the modern style of the project. The result? A sleek, sophisticated space that perfectly balances a clean aesthetic with the aspirational feel of the development. • Great design goes beyond aesthetics—it’s about creating spaces that truly connect with people. Integrating accessories into raised planter edging adds practicality through innovation. Think wireless phone chargers built right into the edge, hidden sockets for helpful functionality, or soft ambient lighting to bring spaces to life after dark. These small but impactful details turn ordinary landscapes into interactive, engaging environments. 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞?
