This time last week we welcomed customers, colleagues and stakeholders to our Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) demo home in Rushden. They had the chance to see the work that has been done to improve the energy efficiency of the property – as well as many others in the area – and ask questions about the project. We’re working in partnership with our contractor Morgan Sindall Property Services on this project and would like to thank them for their work so far. We’ve taken a look back at how the demo home and others in the area looked as work got underway, as well as how they've turned out. Scroll through the images below to see the transformation!

As we prepare for our merger with Grand Union Housing Group, we've welcomed Chris Vaughan to our Boston office today to take professional photographs of our colleagues. We were delighted to welcome customers and stakeholders to Rushden on Friday to view our Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) demo home. We’ve been improving the energy efficiency of nearly 600 of our homes as part of this project. The event on Friday, which was held in partnership with our contractor Morgan Sindall Property Services, was intended to let people see how measures such as external wall insulation, new windows and doors and improved heating could enhance the energy efficiency of our homes. Attendees were also able to ask questions of the project team and were taken for a walk around neighbouring streets where work is being carried out to multiple homes. Thank you to everyone who attended!
