We're delighted to have secured the facade cladding package at Oasis Academy in Bristol for our key client Wates Group This will be the 5th school we have worked on recently for Wates Group, with works currently on site at Woldgate School in York progressing really well. The proposed school building will be partly two-storey and partly three storeys high, with more than 6,700sqm of floor space. It is set to contain both teaching and support areas, as well as a separate four-court sports hall and activity studio. Our works will include the design, supply and install of Euroclad Group Ltd Vieo standing seam cladding and EQUITONE UK Natura rainscreen to the ground floor. We're approaching completion of the facade at the Countess of Chester Hospital where we have been working for VINCI Construction When completed, this new extension to the existing hospital will provide doctors with delivery suites, obstetric theatres, a neonatal unit, and a 24-bed maternity ward. We're pleased to share the amazing news that Longworth Group has successfully achieved ISO 45001 certification, which extends to Longworth Facades, Longworth Hard Metals and Longworth Louvres 📋 ISO 45001 is an international standard for health and safety at work developed by national and international standards committees independent of government. Our journey began in October 2024 with our stage 1 audit, followed by a more in depth delve into our systems during stage 2 in January 2025 which included assessment of - Leadership - demonstrating sufficient direction, resource and commitment to safety Planning - the objectives we have in place to mitigate our groups safety risks Support - that we have in place the resources and communication strategies in place to effectively disseminate our safety management across the group Operation - that we have in place organisational controls to mitigate risk in terms of change management, emergency response, procurement and elimination of hazards Performance evaluation - how we look at ourselves internally and evaluate our safety performance Improvement - how we monitor non conformity across the group. How we then assess where we fall short or could improve.
