The time has come and I’m honoured and hugely excited to be joining the fantastic team at North Devon Hospice and to play a park in making an important and vital difference within the wonderful community in which I live. I’ve spent nearly a decade of my life with Look Good Feel Better UK and it has truly been the most incredible and rewarding experience and I’m so proud of what the charity and the team have achieved during that time. I’m going to really miss the amazing and dedicated individuals who are what make this organisation so special but I know they’ll continue to do great things! ❤️

After nearly nine years with LGFB, our Senior Fundraising Manager, Lizzie Hanks, will be leaving us at the end of August to take up a very exciting position as Head of Fundraising at the North Devon Hospice. Lizzie has played a pivotal role in developing the charity’s fundraising streams and communications channels. And she is also a hugely popular colleague who will be greatly missed. Exciting updates from LGFB HQ 📣 1️⃣ Wardrobe Sale Raises Over £4,000! Passionate supporter Helen Chapman recently held a wardrobe sale, plus a cake stall, fabulous tombola, and beauty barrel lucky dip. So far, she's has raised over £4000, which is absolutely incredible and hugely appreciated! 2️⃣ LGFB Volunteer Took A Leap Dedicated volunteer Jodie-Rose Evans took to the skies recently and jumped out of a plane to raise vital funds for our charity! Jodie sees first-hand the impact our workshops have on people and by raising over £1,000 through her skydive, she has helped to ensure more people can benefit from time spent with expert volunteers and with others also facing the challenges of cancer treatment. Well done Jodie! 👏 3️⃣ New Workshop Venues We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting workshops in two new venues. Bookings are now being taken for workshops at Babons Cancer Support in Tonbridge, Kent from 9th September and The Ark Conference Centre in Basingstoke, Hampshire from 24th September.
