💫 The construction of our latest FibreLINE is a tremendously exciting and groundbreaking project, with the delivery of some truly substantial equipment to the Loop Technology Centre. We recorded a timelapse video of our fantastic team bringing all this machinery together- check it out below! 🛩️ FibreLINE is an end-to-end automated preforming system that revolutionises the manufacture of composite structures. This configuration offers a material deposition rate of up to 200 kg per hour, a step change from current state of the art. It started with the delivery of a 21 metre Güdel Group TMF-6 track back in April and then 2 FANUC Europe M-2000iAs in May, including the strongest long reach robot in the world! It includes the building of FibreFORM, our unique composite pick and place end effector that carefully manipulates large composite plys into complex 3D shapes for precise layup onto the designated mould.
