With diverse backgrounds and roles, people have different ways of understanding, absorbing information, and reacting to ethical decision-making. Tailoring the message is key! 📣 Andrea Cardoso, Independent Legal Compliance Counsel Andrea underscored the importance of both innovation and consistency in communication, noting that frequent, engaging communication can make all the difference in compliance programs. The attendees shared some great reflections, too: 🔹 In the Netherlands, it’s common to ask "Why?" when asked to follow a process. 🔹 We debated how strong governmental structures might foster trust and compliance. 🔹 The impact of company hierarchy: Can flatter structures encourage open conversations versus escalating problems?
