We have updated the Public Procurement Page on the LUPC website to provide a wealth of information for our contracting authority members that need to follow the procurement regulations. The aim of this page is to provide one place where members can find all the key information relating to procuring under the regulations, covering both the Public Contract Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Regulations 2024. Our hope is that members will see this as the first location where they can go to find a reliable source for everything needed in support of working under the procurement regulations. The comprehensive webpage includes signposting to the relevant Cabinet Office guidance and documentation on the Procurement Act 2023 (PA23), as well as resources that LUPC and UKUPC have provided for members in support of implementing PA23. The webpage currently includes: Procurement Pathway Toolkit Thresholds PCR2015 Guidance PA23 Training PA23 Webinars PA23 Tendering Tools and Guidance PA23 Transition & Planning PA23 Supplier Management Information PA23 Below Threshold Contracts PA23 Latest Updates Central Digital Platform Outside of the Regulations The page will be continually updated as more information is provided by the Cabinet Office and as we develop further resources for members. Please note that not all the information provided is publicly available and access to some of the information will require members to log in to the LUPC website. We've created the LUPC Early Careers Network to bring together those at similar stages of their procurement career (new and new-ish entrants to procurement) to further knowledge, create buddy systems, have conversations on common issues, and to share and discuss any procurement-related problems. The network plans to meet four times a year and we invite LUPC members to join Justin McLoughlin, Senior Category Manager at LUPC, along with our LUPC Apprentice, Amariah Nair, for our first Early Career Network online meeting on 5 November 2024. Some of the meeting might cover CIPS, some of it might cover projects attendees are working on, and some of it might be social. There is no fixed agenda and it’s a safe space for all. LUPC members can register here - https://lnkd.in/g7VgNXTR

💡 At LUPC, we aim to inspire a Responsible Procurement movement among our suppliers and members, across consortia, the broader public sector in the UK and globally. As we do this, we are mindful of what we can achieve on our own, as an organisation, and where it is important to collaborate and work with affiliates and partners who have specialist expertise to widen our reach. When it comes to monitoring supply chains and facilitating worker-centred remedy, we are especially appreciative of the work our affiliates Electronics Watch do globally in the Tech sector. We are pleased to extend our collaboration beyond electronics, to other sectors within UK borders, via our affiliation with Unseen UK, who run UK's Modern Slavery Helpline. #UKModernSlaveryHelpline On the Responsible Procurement page of LUPC’s website we have uploaded our Human and Labour Rights Policy, which acknowledges our responsibility to respect human rights, including avoiding infringements on the rights of others and addressing adverse human rights impacts where these might occur, in line with the UN Guiding Principles on Business & Human Rights. We have also provided a button linking to the UK Modern Slavery Helpline which includes a webform and the helpline telephone number for reporting concerns about a potential instance of modern slavery. This is a confidential and independent service operated by Unseen UK, providing advice and guidance to anyone concerned about modern slavery. More info below! 👇 https://lnkd.in/ecDSFjnz
We’re excited to announce our partnership with LUPC (London Universities Purchasing Consortium)!
