Exciting Progress at No.03! The site team has made significant progress at No.03, and we're excited to share some new site photos showcasing the transformation. • We now have two watertight extensions in place, allowing internal works to proceed seamlessly, regardless of the unpredictable English weather. • The installation of new first-floor windows and energy-efficient upgrades — such as external wall insulation, an air source heat pump, solar panels — which is bringing the home closer to reducing its carbon footprint and become more eco-friendly. • Inside, first fix electrics, underfloor heating, and drylining are complete. The new rooflights and sliding doors are flooding the space with natural light. We’re entering the final stages, with the rear garden room extension and finishing touches coming next. Exciting times ahead! #Architecture #Sustainability #HomeRenovation #lvparchitects #EnergyEfficiency

Thrilled to see our clients at No.48 enjoying their newly extended and reconfigured home! The open-plan kitchen and dining area have already been a hit, perfect for hosting friends and family, with the recent beautiful weather made it even better, with the bifold doors and kitchen windows fully opened, allowing the kids to run in and out freely while staying within view - making sure the mischief isn't to mischievous! Finishing touches at No.204... Painting, floor finishes, external window and door trims, brick slip pointing, internal caulking and the last few items going in at the property with only a two weeks and a half to go! A reminder that not only were there internal alterations to change quite frankly a lot of the existing layout (ground and first floor) and open up a few spaces too, but also the thermal upgrades to the property as a whole with floor and loft insulation along with externally new windows and doors, but also the 'façade changing' external insulation with render and brick slips finishes. Five months have just flown by and the client is itching to move into their new (inside and out) home.

Quick progress as No.03.... The sun is shining and the 3 extensions (2 rear and 1 side) to No.3 are taking shape now. The main rear extension roof structure is up, with some lovely shadows falling through it in this glorious weather we are having. The large window openings help highlight the framed garden views the client will be able to enjoy in the future. The side extension walls are up, this extension is for a new upgraded garage and separate utility and plant room. The small garden room extension is still only at slab level and will probably be the last of the extensions to be completed, given it's predominantly glass facades.

No.03 site progress... The floor slab is down, the big steelwork is in and helping to create the large opening that connects new and old spaces, and the external blockwork walls to the rear extension are going up! The client can now get a real sense of the scale of the rear extension and how it integrates to create the open plan kitchen/dining space, along with how the three new separate extensions (which vary in scale) connect with the existing and each other.

No.204 site progress... Well, it is full steam ahead as the second fix is being done, the new kitchen has been installed in the new open-plan kitchen /dining area. Walls are to be painted soon, followed by flooring and final finishes internally, externally some hard landscaping and small areas of brick slip cladding are to be installed......almost there with 4 weeks left to go until handover. The client is very very excited and loving the new spaces and refurbished areas, so close now for them to begin enjoying their new improved home!

Site progress at No.03... Well it has been a time of delays, due to a lot of rainwater and the flooding of the garden - which has been consistent for the last few years and again highlighted the need for the proposed new water retention and diverting strategy as part of the works. Also.....there is a big hole in the back of the house now!

All go on many fronts at the No.204 project... Internal insulation and raised floors, last big steel in and being plaster boarded, last bit of plastering and then ready for the first coat from the painters, some wall tiling begun and also externally the brick slips, render and external wall insulation have been delivered ready for the external upgrade to the house.....phew! The transformation will soon be done, and the old house layout and external appearance will be no more...
