Meet Ty, the Distribution Manager at our Hereford Depot. For 25 years, Ty has been a vital member of the LWC team, and for the last 18 years, he's overseen everything from stock distribution to staff training and health & safety. He ensures that the warehouse team operates in a safe, efficient environment. Starting as a van driver, Ty’s journey of progression at LWC has been remarkable, taking on various courses and growing into his current role. 🚚 We caught up with Ty and asked him for a few words, "I wouldn’t change my job ever, I’ll be here for as long as they want me!". Thanks Ty, we appreciate everything you do!

We’re proud to partner with Learning Curve Group, one of our key apprenticeship providers. During a recent visit from His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh to their newly opened headquarters, our Head of HR, Dave Cole, had the chance to discuss the importance of apprenticeships. He shared insights into how Learning Curve Group helps us train apprentices with hands-on experience and industry-specific skills. Chloe one of our apprentices reflected on the experience, saying: “I attended the opening not knowing who I would meet, but it turned out to be an amazing opportunity. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and it was all so well-organised. My apprenticeship has been a great opportunity, and I’m grateful to be part of LWC. It’s helping shape my future, and I couldn’t be happier.” With Learning Curve Group’s support, we provide apprentices with the opportunity to learn while they earn, and we’re proud to offer each apprentice a permanent role once they complete their training with us.
