  • On World Suicide Prevention Day 2024, we remember those who we have lost to suicide and spread awareness to combat the stigma surrounding mental health. 🧠 Each year, an estimated 703,000 people worldwide die by suicide, with men being twice as likely as women[¹]. Suicide is a global issue, affecting all regions, but it's especially prevalent in low and middle-income countries, where 77% of suicides occur[¹]. It's crucial to recognise that those battling depression are 20 times more likely to die by suicide[¹]. Let's continue to help those in need by creating awareness and understanding, and supporting those with mental health issues in our communities. 💙 #SuicidePreventionDay #MentalHealth #Wellbeing #Support #Community [1] International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP). • Investing in health screening for employees isn’t just about ticking a box - it’s about creating a healthier, more engaged, and productive workforce. By identifying potential health risks amongst the workforce, businesses are able to empower their teams to take control of their wellbeing, making informed choices that benefit both their personal lives and professional performance. Health screenings help create a culture where employees feel valued, leading to higher job satisfaction and loyalty. Plus, early detection means lower sickness and attrition costs and less absenteeism, benefiting everyone involved. At The Livewell Syndicate, we preach that "you can't fix what you don't know" meaning we provide the services to give insights and the solutions to provide the next steps. It’s a core part of our strategy to support employees in every way possible. Let’s make wellbeing a priority—because a healthy workforce is a thriving workforce. 🚀 #EmployeeWellbeing #HealthScreening #WorkplaceWellness #HealthyCulture #ProductiveWorkforce

As we enter September, I wanted to take a minute to reflect on what has been a great period for us. We've partnered with fantastic organisations, from combat sport to education, manufacturing, construction, healthcare and more. We're not building the product we want to build. We are building the solution that the data tells us we need to build to ensure health, wellbeing and longevity of service users. I'm very grateful that I get to announce more new partnerships in the coming months. Happy Monday. #Partnerships #Health #Wellbeing #Employees #Business #Performance

Even one suicide is too many. If the government needed more proof of how serious the mental health crisis is right now, this is it. • Recent insights from The Lanes Group are showing the importance of employee satisfaction. Nearly 8 out of 10 (78%) of UK workers said they were either happy or very happy with their current roles. ¹ But why are they happy? 🤔 It's no secret that employees are often much happier when they have a stable income, feel appreciated for their work efforts, and feel valued by their managers and directors. However, knowing that the business they are working for invests in their wellbeing as much as they invest in the business contributes significantly to their satisfaction. Employees are then aware of the resources available to them when they begin to experience things such as workplace burnout or poor mental health.🧠 This is not only beneficial for the employee, but the workplace as a whole. If employees are excited to be at work and are aware of the support from directors, it inevitably boosts productivity and improves workplace culture! 🙌 [1] - Lanes Group Careers.
