On World Suicide Prevention Day 2024, we remember those who we have lost to suicide and spread awareness to combat the stigma surrounding mental health. 🧠 Each year, an estimated 703,000 people worldwide die by suicide, with men being twice as likely as women[¹]. Suicide is a global issue, affecting all regions, but it's especially prevalent in low and middle-income countries, where 77% of suicides occur[¹]. It's crucial to recognise that those battling depression are 20 times more likely to die by suicide[¹].
