When the Keith Thompson Centre in Keighley faced demolition, the community wasn’t ready to say goodbye and neither were we! With the support of local volunteers, our Projects team stepped in to help breathe new life into this vital space. We designed and donated a kitchen from our Luna range, creating a warm, welcoming hub where the community can come together once again. Today, on International Women’s Day, we celebrate the progress we’ve made, the champions for change who have pushed for more, and the work that still lies ahead. This year’s theme #EqualityInAction is a reminder that creating a truly inclusive workplace is a responsibility we all share. At Magnet, we’ve been turning words into action: ✅ 45% of our executive leadership team is now female. ✅ Our gender pay gap has reduced by two-thirds since 2021. ✅ More women than ever are stepping into store management roles. That means more women leading. More voices shaping our business. More balance where it matters most. But our work isn’t done. There are still barriers to break, opportunities to open, and conversations to keep having. This year, our amazing colleagues have been channelling their inner elves, coming together to donate hundreds of gifts and toys for children across the country as part of our Christmas Toy Appeal! 🎁 These gifts will make a big impact, sending a message of care and love to children and teenagers who might have otherwise faced a Christmas morning without a present to unwrap. You know it’s serious business when the Christmas jumpers come out and there are prizes on the line for the best dressed! And, yes, even our four-legged friends got involved... Yesterday, our colleagues turned up the festive vibes for Christmas Jumper Day, all to support an incredible cause. 🎄 A massive thank you to everyone who took part. Together, we raised over £500 for Save the Children UK - and looked fabulous while doing it!
