We're supporting partners Manchester City Council, The University of Manchester and Turing Innovation Catalyst Manchester with some research to inform the development of a Digital Skills Framework for Manchester. Please take 5 minutes to complete the short survey today. 🗓️ Deadline for responses 1st November https://lnkd.in/g9YbnUqx WHAT IS THE MANCHESTER DIGITAL SKILLS FRAMEWORK? Digital skills are some of the most crucial skills for businesses and residents alike in 2024. These include essential digital skills, like using Microsoft Word and email, and higher-level and more specialist skills such as AI/Machine Learning and software development. The Manchester Digital Skills Framework will benchmark these higher-level digital skills into levels of competency from enhanced to advanced. Commissioned by The University of Manchester and Manchester City Council, it will link to the essential digital skills training that exists in Greater Manchester and will provide guidance for businesses and training providers to understand:- The varying levels of digital skills (for staff, learners, residents). - How and where to access digital skills provision, navigating the wealth of providers. - What training provision can be accessed to upskill/reskill. - Identify ways to shape digital provision, for new and emerging skills needs. It will look at digital roles but not be specific to the digital sector and it will be developed through consultation and co-design. If you’d like to find out more about the Manchester Digital Skills Framework, get in touch via lewis@ticmanchester.org
