As a member of the Manchester Society of Architects committee and Women in Property North West, I had the absolute pleasure of attending yesterday’s fantastic collaborative event in celebration of International Women’s Day. Stacey Copeland and Christine Cort, though from very different backgrounds, both demonstrated what it means to be a changemaker - tackling challenges head-on, breaking barriers, and inspiring those around them to do the same. It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new people, reflect on the progress made, but also recognise the work that still lies ahead. A huge well done to Jenny Etheridge and Stephanie Cox for making it all happen! AEW Architects #Togetherwe #AccelerateAction #IWD2025

  • The Manchester Society of Architects celebrated International Women’s Day yesterday in collaboration with Women in Property North West. We all enjoyed two very different and powerful presentations by Stacey Copeland and Christine Cort, who provided coherent themes of resilience, influencing change and making seemingly impossible challenges happen. The talks were followed by plenty of networking with fellow industry professionals, food, drink and live music at The Alan, Manchester. A huge thanks to those who joined us and for all the wonderful feedback! #IWD2025 #accelerateaction Jenny Etheridge | Paul Iddon | RIBA North West
