Not all AHU decarbonisation projects are as simple as they might seem….. Significant modifications to the outer carcass was required in order to execute the EC fan upgrade from an old belt driven ‘motor out of airstream’ HTM 03-01 unit New fan bulkheads, lift-off access doors and fixed panels ensured maximum performance from the newly upgraded unit, reducing energy consumption and supporting the hospital’s regulatory compliance and environmental goals.
