Whilst MarktoMarket is a data platform, we built a Deals Marketplace so that our customers could post SME / Lower Mid Market transaction mandates. I think there are 2 big advantages to our Marketplace: 1. Deals can only be posted by established corporate finance advisers (so there is a de facto quality screen on the opportunities that go live); and 2. Interest in these posted deals can only come from parties in the MarktoMarket network (in other words, the quality of the counterparties should be high). Furthermore, we probably have the largest audience of corporate finance advisers in the UK & ROI so it stands to reason that our customers are transacting a huge volume of M&A in the market.
