At this year's Eternal Lights event, taking place on Sunday 8th of December, candles will be available for you to light and write a message on in memory of a loved one. 💜 These will be available in return for a small donation, where proceeds will be directed to our Hospice. After writing your message, you will be able to place your candle on the dedicated candle wall, and you are more than welcome to take these home at the end of the event. Today we were visited by Annabelle Dawson, and her daughter Ivy. Annabelle and her husband Ted Maher hosted a Charity Golf Tournament with their company Golf Star in August this year to raise money for Mary Ann Evans Hospice. 💜 The tournament raised £5,420 for our Hospice which is incredible, and we are truly grateful for this. Following a personal connection to the Hospice, Ted and Annabelle wanted to show their support to us by donating the money that was raised. In March this year, we hosted our first Professionals Day and it was a great success! 💜 We had a variety of medical professionals attend our Hospice to learn more about the services we provide, and how they can support us while we also support them. We have decided to host a second Professionals Day, which will be taking place on Thursday 12th of December 2024, from 11 am until 2 pm. We are sure that you will remember the AMAZING Halloween display that was put on by Grahame Broadhurst and Hazel Clarke last week. 🎃 Today, we received the donation that had been raised throughout last week's Halloween events and the incredible display raised £400 for our Hospice! This is such an amazing number and we are so grateful to Grahame and Hazel, as well as everybody who went to see their display and donated to Mary Ann Evans Hospice.
