It was fantastic to see our members again this week! We kicked off on Monday evening with an informal dinner and drinks, a perfect opportunity to reconnect with members and meet some new faces in a relaxed setting. The following day, Teresa Boughey (She/Her) led an inspiring morning workshop on change management. She shared some brilliant practical tips, including the concept of the Four Rooms of Change, helping us all reflect on how to navigate change effectively. From the Room of Contentment, where complacency can sneak in, to the Room of Renewal, full of excitement and vision, it was a thought-provoking session with so many useful takeaways. In the afternoon, our members had the chance to dig into their current challenges during their peer challenge boards. It was a great opportunity to get different perspectives and advice from fellow leaders. Huge thank you to Dr Sarah Perry and the Weightmans team for being such fantastic hosts! As always, it was amazing to see so much connection, collaboration and growth. There's something special about the buzz at our in-person events – the energy in the room, the shared experiences and the open discussions are what make our MD2MD community so valuable! Still buzzing from last Friday's Women in Leadership Conference 🌟 With over 100 incredible women in attendance, the day was filled with empowerment, collaboration and support. Highlights included insightful interviews, engaging collaborative learning sessions and opportunities to network and build meaningful connections with other women in business. The event kicked off with a powerful opening conversation with Marsha Powell (MCIPD) that set the tone for a day of thought-provoking discussions. Topics covered ranged from dynamic leadership, to diversity in leadership teams, to NLP communication techniques and using AI to help free up time, all with the goal of equipping women with the tools they need to thrive as leaders. It was wonderful to see so many women come together to share experiences, reflect and support one another.
