St Mary's Island has been on quite the journey. In nearly 30 years over 1700 homes have been built 🏡 Work on the project, a joint venture between Countryside Homes – which is now part of the Vistry Group - and Homes England, began in 1998 and finished in March this year. The final homes were occupied in June 👏 A celebration event was held at Copper Rivet Distillery on the nearby Chatham Maritime Marina earlier this month and was attended by the Mayor of Medway, Cllr Marian Nestorov. Also in attendance were representatives from Homes England and Medway Council, chief operating officer of Vistry Group Earl Sibley, chief executive of Countryside Partnerships Stephen Teagle and Vistry Group regional directors, as well as former members of staff from Countryside Homes and Vistry Group who have been involved in the project. #StMarysIsland

Medway Council housing is pleased to announce the appointment of Envirocure Limited as our water management partnering contractor from 1 September 2024. Envirocure Limited will be undertaking a variety of water management functions including outlet flushing, TMV servicing, purging and a variety of other works over the next 4-12 years to our residential units and commercial areas.
