This strategic approach allowed us to align candidates with PCN needs effectively.     🚨 HMRC-Related Mandate Fraud Alert Targeting Trusts & ICBs 🚨 Paul Bell, MIAA Senior Anti-Fraud Manager, has reported a new scam involving fraudsters sending letters or VAT 484 forms, falsely claiming to be from HMRC. These scams request changes to bank account details, typically targeting organisations expecting refunds from HMRC. HMRC has confirmed such fraudulent changes have been occurring. ⚠️ What to Watch For: • If you receive notification from HMRC about unspecified changes, act fast! Verify whether your Trust/ICB has made any actual changes. • If a bank account change has been requested, immediately contact HMRC to report the change as fraudulent. 🔐 Preventing HMRC Fraud: 1. If notified of an amendment to details by HMRC, urgently check with the Trust/ICB to confirm it. 2. For any unauthorised bank account changes, alert HMRC immediately to flag it as a scam. 🛡️ How to Report Fraud in the NHS: • Call anonymously at 0800 028 4060. This innovative tool is designed to address workforce challenges by: 🔍 Identifying Workforce Gaps: Helping pinpoint shortages in key roles or regions, supporting targeted recruitment and training efforts. 📊 Tracking Workforce Trends: Monitoring trends over time, enabling future workforce planning with a more proactive approach. 📈 Supporting Strategic Workforce Planning: Providing real-time data to inform staffing needs, both short and long term. The dashboard is now a vital tool to help stakeholders improve data accuracy, comply with national standards, and respond swiftly to data requests. By linking external data sources, this tool will help the ICS transition from reactive workforce planning to a more predictive and strategic approach, improving recruitment and retention efforts. We are proud to be part of a solution that will drive better decision-making and support the NHS Long Term Plan.
