Zopa Bank now hires with Metaview! 🥳 Zopa is a unicorn fintech on a mission to be Britain’s best bank. They’ve lent out over £10 billion, take care of more than £4 billion in savings and are proud to have made money work better for over a million people across the UK. We’re psyched to be empowering Zopa as they build their high-performing team. Claire Hyams (Biggs), Head of TA, shares why Zopa chose Metaview: “It’s important to us that our amazing teams have access to the best tools. That’s why we brought in Metaview to elevate our interviews. The team is cutting out hours of admin spent writing up candidate notes and feedback. That time can now be dedicated to higher-leverage work, which is a massive win.” Welcome aboard, Claire and team!

“Metaview has been a game-changer in terms of reducing admin burden and focusing on the call in hand.” Dan Matthews is a principal recruiter helping startups around the world hire the best software engineers. He’s a Metaview pro and has seen some pretty impressive impact: ✏️ 8-10 hours per week saved on admin Since he doesn’t have to spend so much time writing up candidate feedback anymore, Dan has hours free to speak to more candidates or focus on internal improvement projects. ⏰ Reduced time-to-hire Dan’s hiring managers are using Metaview too, which means feedback cycles are super quick, and they can hire talent faster than the competition. 💙 Better feedback for a better candidate experience With the detailed notes Metaview provides, Dan can easily give candidates meaningful, tangible feedback, which is always much-appreciated. Metaview has not only increased Dan’s “TA happiness”, but also helped his hiring managers enjoy recruiting more too. Awesome stuff, Dan!

After using Metaview for over a year and a half, I can confidently say that if you are not using it you are wasting at least 10+ hours a week and giving your candidates a worse experience. Not to mention the added value it provides during intakes and debriefs. The product is easily one of the best out there for companies actively hiring. If you are being asked to do more with less amount of time you won't regret trying it. You can try it out here - -> https://lnkd.in/ghmTA2zn

Have you ever made a bad hire? - These Uber and Palantir alums have built a human-centric AI scribe to help you avoid another one. In 2018, Siadhal Magos and Shahriar Tajbakhsh set out to reduce bad hiring decisions. They founded Metaview, an AI scribe, to harness data from conversations, enhancing human decisions rather than replacing them. As a result, their approach to hiring remains human-centric: “I am ultimately accountable for who gets hired. Some people think if the machine says it, it must be right. They need to understand that this is not how these probabilistic models work.” In this week’s post for Hiring Humans, we discuss: 1️⃣ Siadhal’s founder tips for recruiting and red flags to be aware of 2️⃣ His view on the future of recruiters and where humans will be most valuable 3️⃣ Metaview’s origin story and approach to hiring Full post in comments. ______________________________ 🤝 If you'd like AI tips for hiring or how to run your startup, I send a weekly 30-second (+ longer form post) newsletter with lessons learned from conversations with founders and early-stage teams. 📩 Subscribe in the comments. ______________________________ 📅 Last week: Hiring for an AI-first startup.
