Exciting News: We’re Taking on the Jurassic Coast Challenge 2025! MIDA are sending a team of 10 to tackle an ULTRA MARATHON which is set along the spectacular World Heritage Jurassic coastline in Dorset. The team will be starting in Corfe Castle, heading down to Swanage, past Durdle Door before a finish line celebration in the vibrant town of Bridport. Our team is ready to take on this physically demanding challenge, all while supporting a fantastic cause and raising awareness for Macmillan Cancer Support! It's Women in Construction Week 2025 and we're celebrating the role of women in our industry! Meet some of our team: Danielle has been in the construction industry for over 17 years and is currently a Senior Buyer in MIDA's Procurement team. She brings a wealth of knowledge from her background in drainage supplies & plastic building materials. Holly has worked in various roles within the construction industry for the past 7 years with experience managing plant & fleet, procurement and most recently transitioning into MIDA's Operations team liaising directly with our onsite teams. Sarah opted for a career change into the construction industry nearly 3 years ago and works in MIDA's Health, Safety, Environment & Training team where she has been able to transfer a number of skills from her previous job. At MIDA, we're committed to supporting and uplifting women in construction. We are proud to be part of reshaping the industry, breaking down gender barriers, and ensuring that future generations of women have the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed.
