🗞Millbrook Medical Conferences Announces Leadership Transition: Fiona McDonald to Step Down as Managing Director, Dominic Legate Appointed as Successor🗞 Millbrook Medical Conferences, a leading provider of event management services to the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, today announces that Fiona McDonald will step down as Managing Director, a role she has passionately held for over thirty years. In a carefully planned transition, Dominic Legate will assume the position of Managing Director effective Tuesday 1st October. Fiona McDonald has been the cornerstone of Millbrook Medical Conferences since its inception, guiding the company through significant growth, evolving healthcare landscapes, technological advancements, and service expansion. This transition has been thoughtfully curated and gradually executed behind the scenes over the past year. Moving forward, Fiona will continue her work with Millbrook, focusing on leading the administration of the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society (BCIS), ensuring dedicated service and continuity to the charity. Millbrook began on Fiona’s dining room table while she was on maternity leave with her son, Dominic. Recognising a clear need for the creation and management of medical conferences within the NHS, she combined her organisational strengths and people skills to establish Millbrook Medical Conferences. Since then, the company has grown steadily, now comprising a team of fifteen managing over 50 conferences annually and supporting numerous charities and initiatives. Under Fiona’s leadership, Millbrook has become a trusted partner to healthcare organisations, renowned for delivering high-quality, bespoke medical conferences both in the UK and internationally. Reflecting on her time with the company, Fiona said, "I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved as a team at Millbrook. It has been a privilege to serve as Managing Director for so many years and to have worked with such talented individuals. I am confident that under Dominic's leadership, Millbrook will continue to flourish, maintaining the values of excellence and service that have always defined us." Dominic, who has been with Millbrook for 10 years in various strategic roles, brings a fresh perspective and a deep understanding of the company’s core mission.
