We're delighted Milner Research Associate Thomas Dennison will speak at ELRIG UK's Drug Discovery conference in October! 🤩 "Patients in a dish: using a patient-derived organoid biobank to investigate disease mechanisms and drug targets in inflammatory bowel disease" Tom works with us in collaboration with Matthias Zilbauer at the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute, where he completed his PhD in 2023. Tom's current research – as part of our mission to bridge the gap between academia and industry – builds on the Zilbauer lab’s expertise and clinical insight to develop CRISPR screening methodologies in hIEOs with a translational focus. His work aims to enable a better understanding of disease mechanisms and identify novel drug targets in a patient-targeted manor.
