Today we welcomed Baroness Jones, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Future Digital Economy and Online Safety Department for Science, Innovation and Technology to the hub MediaCityUK to meet businesses and try out some of the innovation supported by Innovate UK 🌍We were delighted to introduce her to some of the innovative businesses here, who have been supported by our partnership with Greater Manchester Business Board (LEP) The University of Salford and Salford City Council through the Innovation Accelerator programme 🎧We met with residents Mymanu® who shared their journey of investment through @crowdcube and over £2m in private investment for their award winning CLIK PRO AI translation earbuds. The groundbreaking innovation allows travellers access real-time AI translation in 55 languages, has been picked up by WHSmith-owned (InMotion). Baroness Jones also tried out some spatial experiences on the Apple Vision Pro at DreamLab and played with AI animated characters made by Daniel Maktabi Scenegraph Studios are promoting wellbeing through VR mindfullness programme, Spirit VR. 🤖 We also spoke about the future of AI.
