We were delighted to be invited to participate in the #AccelerateHER International Women's Day 2025 event, organised by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council and Go Succeed NI, celebrating the achievements of local female entrepreneurs and business leaders. This year, we mark our 50th year in the borough and we were proud to have our Head of Communications, Shorlagh McConville, contribute to the fireside panel alongside Christine Stewart and Majella McAlister. It was a truly inspiring day, bringing together an exceptional gathering of female business owners and leaders, each sharing their vision and expertise. A special thanks to the organisers, and to all the distinguished speakers – Cllr. As part of #WomeninConstructionWeek, we were delighted to see one of our talented team members, Lois Shannon RIBA, feature in this month's The Royal Society of Ulster Architects Perspective Magazine. Lois joined the Mivan Ltd Design team a year ago coming from an architectural background and hasn’t looked back since.... "It meant building a new career aligned with my passions and strengths. In this new role, I’ve thrived in ways I never anticipated. The fast-paced environment and focus on problem-solving have reignited my love for design. In just a short while, I have travelled the world-from London to Germany, Australia and soon Spain- working on projects that demand creativity and technical expertise."
