Florian Gallier, Strategic Partnerships Manager at Mo-Sys, will present the new technologies and innovative workflows developed by Mo-Sys to revolutionise virtual production. He will showcase how these advancements can enable the filming of an entire TV series in a studio environment, like the one at Sugar Studios.   Mo-Sys Hybrid VP: an ingenious combination of mid-sized LED and green screen was used to shoot a 55-minute TV pilot, filmed by a 9-person crew who were new to virtual production, using this workflow in a compact studio. The pilot features 7 different virtual New York locations, including a trading floor. Impressively, they filmed 492 shots in just 2 weeks.   The session will delve into the entire process of this virtual production pilot, covering every stage from pre-production to post-production.   Mo-Sys is developing new methods around a technique known as Gaussian Splatting: a groundbreaking technique for producing photorealistic content. This method simplifies the creation of production-ready 3D scenes, captured rapidly from real-world environments, making it significantly easier to create production-ready content in studio settings compared to traditional methods.
