The Counselling & Psychological Therapy Service we offer is free to veterans & their families, from a generous donation from the Veteran Foundation. The Mode Rehabilitation Drop-in service was developed in Stockport in 2014 to provide confidential help with any personal issues. ASDIC advocates our work, and COBSEO membership provides credible advocacy, information to continue our outstanding support to members of the armed forces community. We have developed a number of programmes that have been successful including our Resilience to Civilian Life intervention to the veteran community. We at MODE have supported the veteran community into construction and facilitated the initial Belfour Beatty Military Talent Programme. It has been both a privilege and honour to work with those who graciously sacrificed their lives for this country. Each has made a significant contribution to helping us understand the destructive role of conflict and how certain thinking styles play out in our lives. Since leaving Project RECCE this year, it has been an honour and a privilege to support veterans into construction.
