Molly Ollys

For children who spend much of their time in hospital, it can feel like being cut off from the world. You cannot play with your friends; you can get behind in schoolwork and it can also be very boring. 10-year-old Jack was diagnosed with a Medulloblastoma (a type of brain tumour) and asked Molly Ollys for an iPad to help alleviate the long days at hospital with games and to catch up schoolwork. “Just have to show you the face of a boy whose wish came true!!” Jacks Mum. We were so happy to be able to help Jack and his family by making his wish come true. We can help so many children with life-threatening illnesses because of your donations and fundraisers. It’s a busy week in the Molly Olly office as we received 57 new wish requests in October that we are working through and on Saturday this week we are hosting our Annual Ball. We look forward to welcoming our guests to The Grand Hotel Birmingham . This is a massively important event in our fundraising calendar. We reach out to many companies for help and are extremely lucky to be so well supported. Fingers crossed we will raise lots to enable us to help more children and it is down to the kindness and generosity of many companies and individuals. We have a number of fundraisers happening this weekend to support Molly Ollys! Good luck to Tony from Fews who will be taking on his second Hyrox competition today! Hyrox is the ultimate event in fitness racing and after completing one back in May, Tony is taking on his final challenge in Birmingham.
