Meet Kasheef Mohammed! Say hello 👋 So what does a Senior Enterprise Account Executive do at Monolith? "What I mainly do is help customers understand the true potential of AI and guide them throughout their buying journey. There is a saying: Your AI model is as good as the data you collect. Many customers collect data, but they are not using it to their advantage. We work with automotive companies and have recently started working in the battery space. It's pretty exciting. Monolith AI is taking center stage in the EV transition, which means if you care about sustainability, a cleaner future, and moving away from fossil fuels, our technology is helping companies reach that milestone. There isn't just one specific thing I like about working here. The organization itself is very inclusive and diverse, which brings more flavor. Our tech is democratising AI. It is not restricted to a few individuals with data science knowledge. We are giving power to the people who actually generate the test data – the engineers. That empowerment we bring to engineers makes me really proud." Thank you for sharing! #accountengineer #careersinai #democratisingai

Empowering engineers. Our AI platform helps you test less & learn more.
About us
Monolith is trusted by the world’s top engineering teams to build self-learning models that empower your engineers to do less testing, more learning, and develop better quality products in half the time. Our end-to-end cloud platform enables any engineer to use their test data and expertise to solve intractable physics problems. It's designed by engineers, for engineers. Quickly design AI pipelines and train models without advanced programming or data science experience. Understand how your design works and which parameters are most influential on performance. Use AI self-learning models to make predictions of how your design performs under different conditions. Find optimal values for key design parameters to meet performance targets and regulatory requirements. Monolith was founded in 2016 by Dr. Richard Ahlfeld, born from his PhD at Imperial College London and NASA. Boosted by joining the FoundersFactory 6-month Accelerator Programme in January 2018, he built a diverse team of engineers, data scientists, and software developers to achieve his company vision. Monolith was named a Gartner Cool Vendor for AI in Automotive.

Last week, I had the great pleasure of attending The Battery Show North America 2024 and participating in some incredible conversations on the future of #BatteryTechnology. I had the opportunity to join a fantastic panel alongside Keven Wang, Manan Pathak, and Peter Kostka, as well as deliver a keynote on how #AI is helping engineers test faster by validating cells more efficiently. It was inspiring to see so many passionate people dedicated to pushing the boundaries of #EnergyStorage . The foot traffic to our #MonolithAI booth was tremendous, and it was a pleasure to connect with new faces and long-time industry colleagues. Monolith's recent features in the news certainly stirred up quite a bit of interest. I really enjoyed talking about the latest developments and features we have been adding to Monolith and how we are helping clients build more efficient test labs. For those of you who attended, what were your key takeaways from the event? Will you return next year, or would you recommend other industry shows? I’d love to hear what you think! #Innovation #EV #BatteryShow

Listen in ⏯️ ⏯️ Huge thanks to Dr. Veronika Wright (Obersteiner) for featuring us on the Electrified Veronika YouTube channel! Together with our Founder, Richard Ahlfeld, Ph.D., this episode gives an excellent breakdown of battery development using AI. The talk dives into machine-learning algorithms and their impact on accelerating more advanced battery testing and validation for EVs. In such a rapidly evolving industry, what crucial role do battery test labs play in ensuring safety and longevity in the field? 🎧 It’s a must-listen podcast for anyone interested in the future of e-mobility. Check it out: https://lnkd.in/eHCRnma6 #EV #AI #TheBatteryShow #emobility #batterytesting
Machine learning and AI to solve intractable physics in EV battery development? 🔋📈 Yes, with Monolith. “When I look at the battery development process, I'm thinking, OK, what are characteristics of batteries that CANNOT be simulated, modeled, or understood with the tools that we have today? Because for me, those are the tools where you have to use MACHINE LEARNING to try and understand it. And so what we've done at Monolith is essentially really zero in on prototype testing of batteries and labs and trying to use AI models to accelerate and improve this process where AI is learning HOW the batteries are WORKING.” I’m incredibly humbled to have Richard Ahlfeld, Ph.D., as a guest for Episode 3 of my AI in E-Mobility series. Richard’s journey from Stanford to NASA, and now as the founder and CEO of Monolith, is beyond impressive. In this episode, we dive deep into how Monolith’s AI-powered software is revolutionizing BATTERY VALIDATION and reducing the need for costly and time-consuming TESTS. “If we can get AI to solve intractable physics in what I call high-throughput labs, which is a lab designed for an AI to carry out experiments to learn faster, I think that would be a complete game changer.” Another key highlight for me personally from this episode was Richard explaining how incredibly important it is to make AI decisions EXPLAINABLE, so that we, as humans, can still understand the recommendations and actions “it” takes. As AI becomes integrated into almost everything in the near future, and as we approach agent-like behavior where AI starts taking autonomous actions, the ability to explain those actions will be critical for maintaining trust and accountability.
