How can operators reduce frustration and build trust with their customers? When a charge point is shown as available - but is actually blocked by an ICE vehicle - it’s not just frustrating for the driver. It reflects poorly on the network. With Monta’s Incident Alerts, blocked charge points are immediately marked as busy/blocked and the operator is notified 📲 so a parking attendant can be dispatched to confirm and resolve the issue. This not only improves the experience for drivers - it also helps operators set the right expectations. When availability reflects reality, drivers are less likely to leave frustrated. The result? Fewer missed sessions, higher trust in your network, and a better overall user experience. Small actions, big impact. That’s how you build a charging network people can rely on.

“There’s just not enough charging in the US today to support the vehicles that are already there. Once the private companies start getting in, I think you’ll see what we’ve seen in Europe, which is a bit of a bun fight for space and locations.” In case you missed it, Kevin Spangenberg and Mike Hawkes sat down with Ryan Fisher, Head of Charging Infrastructure at BloombergNEF, to break down what it takes to incentivise businesses to invest in US charging infrastructure. In this episode they go over: - Where the money is flowing. The key to unlocking private investment? Targeting locations where high utilisation is guaranteed. - Lessons from Europe. As more players enter the space, competition for prime real estate will heat up - just like it did across the Atlantic. - The policy factor. How government intervention could shape where and how fast the private sector moves in. “Adoption happens when using the solution feels natural. If the barrier to entry is high, people will stick with what they know, even if it’s inefficient, and you need to build with this in mind” Our CEO Casper H Rasmussen was interviewed by Forbes' T. Alexander Puutio in a new feature exploring breakthrough innovations across warehousing, energy, and EV infrastructure. And while a company like Carbice tackles the complexities of thermal management, Monta is addressing a different kind of challenge: streamlining EV infrastructure. Monta’s approach centers on simplicity and ease of adoption, two critical elements in industries resistant to change. Read the full article in the comment section
