We offer cataract surgery at 10 different sites across London and Bedford. Nihal is a retired GP who was treated for cataract at Moorfields Eye Centre at Ealing Hospital. “I’ve built up a lot of trust in Moorfields,” said Nihal. “I asked my GP to refer me and then asked for Moorfields at Ealing for convenience. It was all very smooth, very professional and efficient. Mr Nicholson saw me and suggested the operation. The date was given soon after the pre-assessment. It was a very short waiting time. “On the day of the cataract surgery I felt very confident I was in good hands. Mr Nicholson explained everything to me. The nursing staff were so kind and made sure everything was okay. “I can see much, much better in the operated eye. I have since lost my hearing and need hearing aids, so my vision is now very much my main sense.” Our network sites like Moorfields Eye Centre at Ealing Hospital offer our same world-leading surgeons in locations closer to home for our patients, so you can be assured that wherever you undertake cataract surgery you are well looked after.
