About us
WHO WE ARE: Morley Rugby Football Club is a Rugby Union club based in Morley, West Yorkshire. Established in 1878, it is a non profit organisation run by volunteers which has served the community for nearly 150 years. With a 1st XV playing in Regional 2 North League, together with a 2nd XV and a Vets team playing at equally competitive levels, the Club also host a thriving junior age grade section with teams from micros (age 5) through to Colts (age 18), all coached by RFU qualified and DBS checked coaches. Open to members and non-members, the Club offers a welcoming and diverse social place to meet with like minded friendly people, and serves as an invaluable community asset to all ages, providing a facility to host major community events such as the Morley Music Festival, the St.Geroge’s Day Parade, Morley Community Bonfire Night, Remembrance Sunday Lunch and much more. CLUB FACILITIES: Fantastic indoor and outdoor facilities, including 4 full size outdoor floodlit pitches, 3 separate newly refurbished bars, a 200 person function suite and a commercial kitchen. 6 separate changing rooms, showers and baths, referees and officials changing rooms, physiotherapy room and players gym. CORPORATE, SOCIAL AND SPORTS VENUE HIRE: MRFC is able to host both indoor and outdoor events, with a range of bars and function rooms to suit differing requirements, capable of hosting anything from 10 to 250 people. Whether it be for indoor based work training/presentations or outdoor team building or sports activities, or for social engagements such as sports days, weddings, birthdays, christenings or funerals, MRFC can tailor any hospitality package (including entertainment, food and drinks).
