We are proud to announce that we have completed the full design and build of an extra high voltage (EHV) primary substation in Brent Cross. This is one of the largest #EHV primary grid connections in London and provides a new 132kV connection to the regional distribution network. Our team were delighted to give the National Infrastructure Commission a tour of the Biggleswade Grid substation recently. Meeting with Sir John Armitt, Chair of the National Infrastructure Commission, we gave him an insight into works we are delivering for our client, UK Power Networks. We are the Designer and Principal contractor for the Biggleswade Grid substation project, which is part of Central Bedfordshire Council’s initiative. The project, which began in August 2022, will boost power capacity by an additional 80 Megawatts to benefit thousands of new homes and businesses. #MGroupServices #MGSEneryDivision #BiggleswadeSubstation
