Thanks for the fab review!
This review couldn't have come at a better time 🙏 After a frustrating series of events yesterday afternoon. I was left feeling somewhat frustrated and aimless in my work day. However this spontaneous and out of the blue review pulled me right up and out of my funk. As important Google reviews are for ranking higher on web browsers or reaching new customers they also serve a much deaper purpose... Building up small business owners!! Running a small business can be a nervy and lonely process. There's lots of alone time and sometimes it can be an intimidating career path. Everyone needs a little encouragement every now and then and I am certainly not the exception. So I just want to say thanks to those who take time out of there day to give a review to those running there own service or business. Take it from me, it really means a lot! 🙌

Something that has been on my mind recently. Last week I started watching a Masterclass series by Alexis Ohanian Sr. (Founder of Reddit) entitled, Building Your Startup. Now, I might not be launching a new app or product, but one question really stood out. What problem are you solving? I've been freelance for just over 5 years now and this is the first time I'd asked myself that question. My initial answer was, I make films for people who need films. But that didn't seem like a very good answer. It was too vague and nothing that would make someone stand out of a crowd of other amazing filmmakers. The great thing about the question was it made me put myself in my clients shoes. Very quickly I started to think about what all those chats I'd had with businesses over the years and problems I had encountered. Problems such as - Making shoots more affordable per video (Price Per Video). Getting more deliverables (Content) from your shoots. Providing video that matches photos and other branding content. I have found this a great starting point, to see how I can add more value to other businesses and freelancers.
