Yesterday marked the first annual #MoSMedConference of the new CDT scheme. We got the privilege to listen to all of our new PhD students give a presentation on their PhD projects as well as hearing from some of our industrial partners and keynote speakers too. A great day full of fantastic science! #phd #science #research #phdstudents #cdt #medicinalchemistry #lifesciences #EPSRC

I am over the moon to see the announcement of the inaugural "George M Sheldrick Prize" by the European Crystallographic Association ECM34 - 2024 awarded to a non-tenured researcher for outstanding scientific contributions in the field of structural sciences. George has always been an fantastic mentor for and supporter of early career researchers from a wide and diverse background. He is a true giant of crystallography and this prize honors his legacy. Find more detail in the link and nominate your best (non-tenured) colleagues. https://lnkd.in/esNV65QY
