A thriving new heart for North Acton has been given the green light. Plans for One Portal Way will deliver three high-rise residential blocks providing 1,325 new homes, co-living or purpose-built student accommodation units, workspaces, shops, cafés, a health centre and co-working hub. Motion supported Imperial College London with #design, #masterplanning and #transportplanning. The team also proposed wider footways, public realm improvements and a raised signalised crossing to create a more open, safe environment for pedestrians and cyclists. 👷👷♂️ We are delighted to announce that Kier Construction has been appointed as our construction partner to deliver YASA's new UK #HQ at #TheRanges, the new name for our innovation quarter. 🌟 YASA, a spin-out from the University of Oxford and wholly owned by the Mercedes-Benz Group AG, is pioneering new electric drive technology. 🏗️ Kier has been appointed to construct our next phase of development to create the new HQ, which is a substantial #bespoke development that will total 90,000 sq ft (8,361 sq m). 🚧 The Ranges’ remaining four buildings will be part of phase 2 which together has a construction value of £60 million. ✅ Practical completion is targeted for summer 2025.
