As we continue our series of posts about the recent Kia Masterclass delivered for our client, Kia UK Limited., we’re excited to share some highlights from the EV Discovery Arena! In this expansive and lively setting, delegates were divided into smaller teams to tackle a range of engaging 'Taskmaster' exercises. Participants faced challenges such as towing a horse-box (not something you do everyday), planning journeys using the sophisticated GPS navigation, and utilising the innovative remote smart park assist technology of the EV9. The atmosphere was competitive yet lighthearted, as teams earned points for their efforts there was plenty of banter over who would emerge as the 'Taskmaster' Champions. Could you describe the difference between kW and kWh, or AC and DC charging? Our EV Technology session at the recent Kia Masterclass was designed to do exactly that!🚗⚡ Led by Alex Dew and Sophie Wright, we took delegates through an immersive experience aimed at simplifying the complexities of electric vehicle charging. Using interactive props and engaging demonstrations, participants faced challenges that made learning both fun and accessible. For example, we utilised pipes, funnels, and marbles in a perspex box to illustrate how charging an electric battery works, helping everyone understand the distinctions between kW and kWh.
