The results were encouraging for the sector as most consumers said their car buying plans are unchanged. Although values dipped -1.1% (c£210), there’s plenty to chat about across age bands, vehicle segments and fuel type, with EVs the strongest performing fuel. Spoiler alert. Cap HPI reports October’s retail activity was healthy, with respectable demand and dealers feeling relatively upbeat - more so than where they were last year.
