Big news for us here at MouseAble. Watch this space for more updates to come! 🐭
I'm on top of the world. Yesterday I was awarded 1st place in the Eli & Britt Harari Graphene Enterprise Award, securing £50,000 to establish my start-up MouseAble. Our business is using #graphene and other advanced #materials, to engineer #bioelectronics that will improve the wellbeing of animals in research (#3Rs). I'm sad I couldn't attend the ceremony in-person due to a business trip, but jubilant watching it live from New York and look forward to following-up once I return to Manchester. Enormous thanks to my team mate Ed Hayter. Also David Bechtold and Alex Casson, for providing me with the support I needed to reach this point. The Masood Entrepreneurship Centre and Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre for supporting the award and providing training and guidance, especially Lucy Hutchinson and Lynn Sheppard. And of course, Eli & Britt Harari for investing the seed funding which will make a huge difference in helping me make this idea a reality. Watch this space!
